In honor of International Women’s Day, the Front Row women answered the question: What should teachers tell their female students? To find the answers, watch the video below:

At Front Row, we are committed to creating the best educational tools so that ALL students can be engaged and challenged. However, we acknowledge that there are external factors that unfortunately can make it harder for certain students to take full advantage of educational opportunities. One of these is that there are many messages, both obvious and subtle, that girls receive from a young age telling them they are limited in the options they have. These messages are harmful, and we are committed to proactively providing girls a counter-message that affirms them in whoever they are and whoever they want to become.

If you’re a teacher, what do you want your female students to know? If you’re not a teacher, what should teachers tell their female students? Let us know in the comments below, or with the hashtag #ToAllMyFemaleStudents on Facebook and Twitter. We’ll post a follow up blog post with all of your answers next week!

Happy International Women’s Day!
