Feature Friday: Spring Cleaning + Improved Student Engagement

As usual, we’re chugging along here at Front Row to continuously improve our product. This week, we have 2 exciting announcements.

We’ve reorganized!

Because teachers communicated that they sometimes found it confusing to navigate on our site, we have re-organized! Now, teachers can access all practice assignments from the ‘Assignments’ tab on their teacher dashboard. There they can find adaptive practice, standards-aligned practice and benchmark assessments.

To navigate there, follow these steps:

Step 1: From your dashboard, click on ‘Assignments’. Then click on ‘+Add An Assignment’.

Step 2: From there, you can choose which type of practice assignment you want to assign to your students.

We’ve also made it easier to find our reports! All practice reports will be in the ‘Sessions’ button on the ‘Individual Practice Reports’ tab.

Coming Next Week! Student Map:

Many students have been using Front Row for many years now and, though we they’ll always feel a deep love for our Piggy, we are constantly seeking more ways to increase student engagement on our site. Thinking back to our days dressing up as pirates and going on treasure hunts, we decided to create domain-specific maps for each students. For each domain, students will see a map with the appropriate number of lessons for that domain. Students will be able to see which levels of the map they’ve already completed and which level they’re currently working at.

Check back here next Friday for even more updates! And remember to always share your feedback with us. We’re here, and we’re listening!
