Happy Fall, teachers! We hope your school year is off to a great start.

Today, we're excited to share some new updates to Front Row from the last month that we think you and your students will love!

K-2 Number Facts and Decodables

K-2 students now have access to two new, age-appropriate tools for learning early math and reading skills!

Number Facts helps students learn basic math using fun symbols. The math exercises are read aloud, so no prior reading experience is required.

Decodables are mini stories that teach students early reading skills using short words with common sounds.

Decodables and Number Facts can both be found in the all-new K-2 dashboard. We've redesigned it to make it more kid-friendly and easy to navigate for younger students.

Social Studies articles and units are now searchable

Many teachers have been asking for the option to search for specific Social Studies content, and now you can! You'll see a search bar above the units in the Social Studies section of your dashboard.

QR codes for students to sign in

It’s now easier than ever for students to log in to their Front Row dashboards. With QR codes, students don’t need to type in their name and class code to get into Front Row.

Simply click “Print login cards” under “Class options” in your Roster, print, and pass the cards out to your students!

Note: QR codes don't work with iOS yet, so if your class uses iPads, please have students sign in the old way for now, and stay tuned for an update!

Try it out in the Rosters section of your dashboard.

New Piggy Store items

J.T. the piggy and friends now have a lot of new outfits and accessories available in the Piggy Store this year. Your students will be so excited to save up for these fun new items!

Constructed response math questions

Teachers with students in grades 8-12 now have access to downloadable constructed response questions to get students thinking in new ways about math problems. You'll find these questions in the math section of your teacher dashboard.
