Feature Friday: Improving Our Student Interface

Posted by Talia Arbit on March 11, 2016 at 12:19 PM

It’s been an exciting week at Front Row. We’ve added a number of new features to make our platform even better!

ELA Article Highlighting

We’ve added the ability for students to highlight text as they work their ELA Articles. See our YouTube video to learn more about your students can use this feature!

Student Maps

As we announced last week, in an effort to make Front Row even more engaging, we’ve created domain maps for each math domain. These interactive maps help students track their progress, set goals, and stay motivated. We’re excited to announce that this feature is now live!

See how excited our teachers are about this change!

Targeted Practice

Thanks to the feedback of many dedicated teachers, students can now also review standards they have already passed.

On the domain maps, students can see their current level (the next gray dome with the progress bar underneath it), as well as the levels they have already mastered (marked in blue). Students can go back to any level they have completed for targeted practice to reinforce those concepts and skills.

Levels marked in gray are ones that the student has not yet reached, and are not available for practice (except the very next level).

That's it for now! Check back here next Friday for even more updates! And remember to always share your feedback with us. We’re here, and we’re listening!
